A stout aged in Niagara red wine barrels before further aging atop fresh Niagara Gamay skins. Though it pours an inky jet black, the light reveals subtle purple highlights as the dark liquid meets the white foam. Rich notes of chocolate, coffee and tobacco meld beautifully with the plum, black cherry and violet of a classic Gamay. Smooth yet robust, it drinks like a pairing of vintage Port and dark chocolate. A perfect digestif for the season.
